ICTSD will co-organize the 2016 T20 Trade and Investment Conference on June 8th, 2016 with a subject focused on "Global Trade and Investment Cooperation - Openness, Inclusiveness and Growth".
This year's Think 20 (T20) Trade and Investment Conference will be taking place in Geneva, Switzerland. And it will be organized by three Chinese think tanks officially assigned to spearhead 2016 T20 activities—Institute of World Economics and Politics at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (IWEP, CASS), Shanghai Institute for International Studies (SIIS) and Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY).
The ICTSD and IDEAS Centre will be the local partners for this T20 session in Geneva.
The conference will cover a variety of topics including global trade governance, the role of Regional Trade Agreements (RTAs), promting trade growth, inclusive Global Value Chains (GVCs), and global investment cooperation, etc.
